The client kept talking to me throughout the repair

I tried to get the client to leave, even though she never got the hint

I’m not a really massive people woman. I don’t like talking to people for a long amount of time. It’s 1 of the reasons why I chose a task that allows me to work alone. I have been laboring in the Heating as well as Air Conditioning repair industry for the past several years. I like the task bigly plus I love to work with my hands. Occasionally I have to talk to clients, however most of my task is laboring alone. Last week, I had a client that insisted on talking to me throughout the entire repair. I went to the apartment to maintenance an AC issue. I knew the repair was going to take an hour or several, although I expected to be done with the repair plus out of the apartment by lunch time. I picked up the parts from our workshop on the other side of neighborhood plus I went right back to the residence to make the AC repair, but unluckyly, the client insisted on talking to me the whole time. I tried to get the client to leave, even though she never got the hint. It took an extra hour to complete the repair because I had to stop every 10 minutes to answer a question or explain the repair. When I got back to the repair shop, my boss wanted to think why I took forever to complete the simple repair. I didn’t want to take an extra 10 minutes to explain things to my boss, although I thought this was absolutely 1 conversation that I should have for a few minutes.
