It is a simple fact that no matter the planning or execution, things don’t always go the way you want them to.
Sometimes, things are just going to work out the way they are going to work out.
This is just the way it is and the more I just accept this fact, the more I have relaxed about it. My work days are no longer filled with the best HVAC and great office. I don’t get to get lunch on the company any longer. It’s a new reality for me and one that I never expected. The company that I helped build was bought out about a year ago. The new company assured me that I would keep that perfectly HVAC maintained office and all that other stuff. But, they didn’t say for how long. I got let go about six months ago. It was over just like that. The next thing I know, I’m trying to figure out what to do next. Fortunately, I had made lots of contacts in my industry and people were willing to pay for my perspective and advice. So, a consulting company was sort of a natural progression. The problem was the space in my house was just not as comfortable as my old office. And, having a perfectly HVAC maintained work space is important to me. That’s why I called the local HVAC company and asked them to come out and install a ductless HVAC unit. I have been so completely please with the results as the office is now the perfect temperature because I can customize it just the way I want.
