There’s nothing wrong with keeping the AC on throughout the day, but sometimes it is good to take a break from that. It is great to sit in the living room with the AC blowing on you on a hot summer day, but it is always nice to open the windows and let the breeze in. There are a lot of people who live in regions where they don’t need to run their ACs often at all. Most nights, they will just open the windows and let the house cool down. I prefer a nice breeze over a loud, buzzing window unit AC. When the window is open at night, the breeze from outside cools down the house and makes me feel really good. I like to know that there is natural air circulating in my house when there are all kinds of toxins in the air vents. You never really know what’s going on in those air vents. Mold is a common culprit of those air vents and if you are breathing it in all the time, that can cause a lot of health problems down the road. We are not sure that there is actually mold in our air vents, but we are always being cautious of such things. There’s a lot of other things that can go wrong in the HVAC but mold is one of the most common. Thinking about it now makes me want to go turn off my AC and open up all of the windows in my house.
