Having a new home is not always as great as people think.
It comes with a lot of responsibility.
There is always a risk of something going wrong. That is what happened to us. We did not build our home. Someone lived in it before us. We did not think to inquire about the HVAC system. When we went to use it for the first time when we moved in, it was not working. We thought that maybe we were missing something. Maybe there was a switch we needed to flip. The truth was that the HVAC system was truly broken. In fact it was so broken and old that we had to pay to replace it. There was nothing we could do since we had already bought the house and moved in. We called our local HVAC company. We consulted with an HVAC technician about where to go next with this. We had just bought a new house so we did not want to spend a lot of money on a new HVAC system. We stuck with a central air conditioning system to have the air vents. It would cost some extra money to have them taken out. We went with the most basic package they had to offer. They came to our house the same week and installed it for us. They took out the old HVAC unit and installed a new one. The air conditioning was up and working that very same week. We are hoping there are no more surprises in this house down the road.
