My mom is completely traumatized.
- I graduated with my undergraduate degree two years ago.
I went back to college for two more years to earn my masters. However, I am now graduating again. The last time I graduated we had a party to celebrate all of the hard work I had put into my time then. My mom wants to celebrate again with another party. However, she is completely freaking out about it. The last time we had a party, the HVAC system totally gave out. The weather was so hot, the majority of people were in the house. We had to move the party outside because the house became too hot. Our air conditioner broke that same day during the party. My mom was frantic with figuring out what was wrong or trying to get it to work. We could not do anything it seemed to get it to work. We called an HVAC technician. However, he could not come for the next few hours. We were going to be without air conditioning altogether. We had to set up some fans in the house to get air circulating so it was a little bit tolerable to be in there. The heat from outside was quickly filling our home. By the time the HVAC professional had come, the party was already over. It was not the greatest party we had. So, this time my mom is really freaking out about the entire HVAC system. She does not want to have a repeat. She has had it checked twice this month already.
