I have recently decided that I want to take a year off school plus go on a mission trip with my church, my church does various mission trips every year plus I have been on a few of them before; Normally the mission trips only last for a week to a month, but I have actually been waiting a change lately plus I assume this would be the perfect thing for me to do, but i have talked with my parents about my decision to take time off of school plus they don’t have a concern with it at all… So, I talked with the person organizing the trip plus let them know my decision to join after all.
I have about three weeks until my friend and I leave for a second world country plus I have been trying to prepare myself as best as I can, but however, there is something I am not sure I am ready to handle plus that is the lack of air conditioner where I will be going.
I have been lucky enough to grow up in a house with an updated heating plus cooling system, so this is not something that I have had to worry about before going on this trip. I am trying to decide if I want to go out a purchase a mini air conditioner unit so that I will be comfortable where I am going, but I don’t assume that is a nice idea. I don’t want to seem like I can’t handle the weather conditions by bring my own air conditioner, no matter how small it might be. In the end I did not bring the air conditioner with me plus I am glad that I was able to brave the elements on my own.
