The other week, I arrived house to find a important box laying on our doorstep plus I study that it was for my son. I couldn’t think of anything that my boy possibly needed that was that large, even though he was excited about it when he got home. I asked his what he ordered, plus he told me that it was a portable air conditioner. I didn’t think I heard his right because an air conditioner seemed like an odd appliance for my teenage boy to be buying. I try not to micromanage what he spends his money on, however it was odd because I had never heard his complain about the temperature before. I asked his why he ordered a portable air conditioner plus he provided me an even more strange answer, but according to her, whenever he had sleepovers with his friends, they were consistently complaining about the temperature of the house. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with the temperature, however his friends seemed to think so. My boy knew better than to touch the temperature control settings, so he had to get creative. This is what led his to buying a portable air conditioner. I don’t like that he spent his money on this to please his friends, even though I was happy that he took the responsibility upon herself plus he didn’t change the temperature control settings.
