I labor in an office with a bunch of people.
I am blessed that most of the people in my office are my age, but I have to admit that are pretty aggravating; Most of my coworkers are regularly complaining about something.
It doesn’t even matter what it is I feel like they just want to hear themselves talk. I try to be friendly with them but I don’t want to have friends that just like to rest around, complain and gossip all the time. I will go with them to glad hour occasionally, but then they just get even worse and start talking poorly about other people in the office, however one thing they just can’t seem to let go is the temperature of the office, and they regularly think the cooling system is blasting when it’s not. However, instead of telling upper management that they have a concern with the temperature of the cooling system, they just rest around and gossip about how our boss isn’t a fantastic leader. Maybe they should voice their opinions to someone that can honestly make a change. I don’t think the cooling system is a problem, but I know that if I was freezing chilly every day at labor I would make sure to tell my boss immediately… Nothing fantastic comes out of them just sitting around and chatting together, maybe I should go to my boss and say they are the concern and not the cooling system. Maybe that would keep them from being so aggravating all the time.
