I currently work at a place that likes to cut corners, this drives myself and others utterly crazy. I strongly believe in quality first, however where I work thinks otherwise. My job would do this to their own purchasers, and it disgusted me, if it wasn’t for the fact that I badly relied on a paycheck I would have quit years ago. Anyways, most of the crap they did never affected me, that is, until their Heating and A/C system failed one day, and our frugal boss didn’t bother to update it. I didn’t realize how much going without any kind of cooling could drive a woman crazy. The first day was bothersome, however not that much, however after that, it only became worse. I believe it’s because I originally expected them to repair their heating and cooling unit, however as the mornings drew on, I began to lose hope. I complained to our coworkers about getting through each sweaty day, and they agreed that it was awful. We together decided to complain to our boss, who of course, dismissed us without even replying. Like I said before, I can’t leave because I would certainly be homeless if I did, however girl did it come to mind numerous times. It got to the point that I brought one of those small moveable air conditioning units, not enjoy one of the mini cut ductless air conditioning, however one that is handheld. It apparently didn’t work nearly and your regular cooling unit, however it was enough to get myself and others through the weeks. I truly can’t wait to quit this job and get a normal job with a normal heating system and air conditioning.
