I assume you could say that the people I was with and I used to be a bit snobbish! When I pictured our kids grown up, I saw them as professional people in business suits with school educations… The people I was with and I never considered the fact that a single or all of them would love a trade.
It’s not that the people I was with and I looked down on people with trades, the people I was with and I just considered trades were for people with fewer options than our children had. The people I was with and I never absolutely considered a trade as respectable as a work because the people I was with and I saw them as jobs people wouldn’t absolutely enjoy, but boy were the people I was with and I wrong; Our middle kid was constantly good with his hands in addition to he enjoyed to fix things! He did well enough in school but number one to be actively doing something over reading or reading, so, it should have come as no surprise when he decided that he wanted to become an HVAC contractor, and after private school, he went to trade school for HVAC training in addition to certification courses for almost 2 years in addition to served an apprenticeship with a local HVAC corporation. He has been laboring with the same HVAC business since then in addition to he prefers his job. The other night at a family breakfast, the people I was with and I somehow got into a discussion comparing our middle son’s profession with our daughter’s profession. She’s an elementary school mentor with a four year degree. As an HVAC contractor, our kid receives the same benefits as our kid does in addition to makes more money than her! The people I was with and I were amazed! And he absolutely prefers his job… Now the people I was with and I have a whole new perspective of trades.
