I bought and installed some room to room ventilators which pull or push HVAC treated air between adjoining rooms
Don’t you love it when the fix to something that has been bugging you for ages just shows up one day right in front of your face? This happens from time to time in life and I never tire of being amazed when it happens. This was definitely the case when it came to a slight HVAC ventilation problem we were having. Being new to the north, we were really happy that the house we bought came with a new gas furnace. Once we moved in and the winter was upon us, we were all about that HVAC heating. Yet, there was a small part of the house where the HVAC heating just didn’t cover adequately. Being from the south and dealing with the absolute shock of a northern winter, we just chalked it up to it being so cold up here. But the more I thought about it, the more I wondered if there was something wrong with the HVAC equipment. But a thorough inspection of the entire HVAC system by an HVAC professional turned up nothing. The HVAC technician thought it could be that an internal wall was added which changed the original ventilation distribution. Another year or so went buy when all of the sudden, I saw the answer to the problem online. I bought and installed some room to room ventilators which pull or push HVAC treated air between adjoining rooms. This has the effect of being able to completely balance the HVAC ventilation in that weird part of our house. Like I said, I love when a tough, challenging problem ends up with such a common sense, simply solution.
