I can’t believe my luck, just last week I bought a new computer and like anybody with something new, I was eager to try it out.
It came with a list of recommendations but I simply ignored them and pushed them to the side, it could wait until later.
I wasted no time downloading all of my favorite games and going all over the internet. The following day I noticed my screen was acting all weird, and there were ads all over the place. Icons were blinking, sounds played from nowhere, and pop up ads were terrible. It then hit me, in my eagerness to try it out, I had completely forgotten to install the antivirus and my computer had clearly been infected with adware. I tried to fix it myself, but I wasn’t sure how to go about fixing it and decided to call over a tech savvy friend of mine. My friend is a really smart guy, he works in the HVAC industry for a living, and in his spare time he fixes computers on the side to earn a little extra cash. He had just gotten off of work after finishing an air conditioning installation when he came over to take a look at my computer. I don’t know how he did it but he was in and out in about 20 minutes. He successfully removed the adware virus and installed an antivirus for me, then he left and started inspecting my thermostat and air conditioner unit and did me a favor by telling me I should really get my ductwork cleaned by a heating and a/c professional. I didn’t need him to look at my HVAC, but he did anyway as a nice gesture, afterwards he left and I enjoyed my a/c and virus free PC.
