My child is so deranged about all of his animals that periodically, he just goes overboard.
He drives me deranged talking about his goats & his pigs & his horses all the time.
I mean, I’m gleeful that he loves his animals & everything, & I would absolutely much rather him have them as a interest than something love video games or dungeons & dragons, but periodically he drives me nuts with all of his talk about the animals out in the barn. At this point in the year whenever the weather is finally cooling off, he’s starting to panic about his animals getting too freezing out there in the barn during the cold, Wintertide days. He has started begging me to get a heating plan put out in the barn for the animals for this year. He says that he’s afraid that they are just going to get too freezing & that they might even freeze to death. I don’t guess that they are going to be too freezing at all. I mean, animals have lived in barns separate from furnaces for hundreds of years now, & they have always been good with their building, hay, & body heat. I guess that they will be just good throughout the Wintertide this year, too. Both of us aren’t even expecting entirely freezing temperatures around here this winter, anyway. I guess my child is just paranoid about the fact that the animals need a heating plan out there. I recognize love anything that we end up putting up out there for extra heat will be a fire hazard.
