I workout every day without fail

I also use my own body weight for plank holds, push ups and tricep dips

My daily workouts are extremely important to me. I consider them as necessary as brushing my teeth and showering. Just like I take vitamins every day to protect my health, I also spend an hour working out. I prefer to complete my workout first thing in the morning. I would rather not procrastinate and take the chance of losing the opportunity. I don’t want to get busy doing something else and not be able to find the time. I think I get a better workout when I am fresh and starting the day. Plus, I know that I enjoy a better mood and greater productivity after the completion of a workout. Even if I’m tired, stressed, sore or busy, I set aside that hour to focus on my health and well-being. I know that exercising is good for my mind as well as my body. It’s a chance to clear my thoughts, get rid of stress and prioritize my needs. I start with a warmup. I spend around ten to fifteen minutes gradually stretching and loosening up my muscles. I rotate my joints, touch my toes and lightly jog or skip. I then move onto an aerobic workout. I vary between running, biking, jumping jacks, jumping rope, burpees and other activities. Then I switch to strength training where I often lift free weights. I stick to smaller weights because I’m not trying to build bulk muscles. I don’t lift anything heavier than eight pounds. I also use my own body weight for plank holds, push ups and tricep dips. I often include lunges and squats and always add in some type of abdominal crunches. I finish the session with a more intensive stretch and deep breathing exercises.
