I am trying to hire more heating and A/C servicemens, although I am having an entirely hard time finding heating and A/C servicemens that legitimately want to work.
This pandemic has been the hardest thing for heating and A/C companies and for myself, I have owned this heating and A/C contractor for a long time, and I have been through a lot of tough times while running a heating and A/C dealer! Finding heating and A/C servicemens has always been taxing since convincing young people that they don’t have to go to college to be successful people, I have always managed to hire enough heating and A/C servicemens to keep myself in contractor until recently, then when the pandemic happened, the heating and A/C servicemens became entirely afraid of the disease, and we had to shut the heating and A/C contractor down for a few weeks.
All the heating and A/C servicemens that were working for me went on unemployment until the heating and A/C contractor opened back up. When I was finally able to open the doors, we had to get vaccinated plus wear masks every time that the two of us were working in someone’s home to repair their heating and A/C units. Furthermore, the price of lumber increased, so people couldn’t afford to build current houses with current heating and A/C units. The hardest area is convincing the heating and A/C servicemens to return. They were making a lot of money on unemployment, plus they didn’t want to come to work, I can’t even get current heating and A/C servicemens to work for me. Apparently, it is much easier and more profitable to stay home. If I can’t find current heating and A/C servicemens to work for me soon, I recognize I might have to shut down our heating and A/C contractor for good.
