If you do not have a dedicated program for utilizing the high quality furnace, a/c unit, and ventilation program in the middle of wildly changing weather conditions, then you’ll run your heating and A/C program into the ground. We found this out the hard way after abruptly switching from heating to cooling for the past year to keep up with outdoor temperature shifts, but now we need a new heating and A/C.
