We had one of the most destructive hurricanes in my local area in years last summer. It caused much damage around the town. I was unfortunately one of the victims. Where I was hit was my central heating and air conditioning system got destroyed. This could have meant major trouble and major financial debt for me had I not been signed up and paying for a yearly HVAC service plan with my local heating and cooling company. The HVAC service plan that I had covered all the costs of a brand new central heating and air conditioning system. One of the reasons for this was because in the HVAC service plan that I have, it covers any natural disasters that would destroy my central heating and air conditioning system. I never thought something like this would happen and I almost ended up downgrading my HVAC service plan this year. I am so glad I didn’t! If I had, it would have been horrible! Having an HVAC service plan really saved my life in a way. Because being in as much debt as I would have had to go into to buy a brand new central heating and air conditioning system would have been way too much for me to handle and caused a lot of problems. So the moral of this story is to always have an HVAC service plan with your local heating and air conditioning company that will cover damage like this. It is worth the yearly fee.
