I do not love biting more than what I can chew however staying in our comfort zone has cost me business for a while.
In fact, in our family, all of us have all specialized in one area of our jobs, for example, our mom is a lawyer although she is a family court specialist.
My sibling is a doctor however specializes in bone structure. I took the same route & chose to become a cooling install specialist. All our jobs have challenges however mine has been the worst, but during Fall & Springtime, I am the busiest person in the family, up & about fixing an filter here & there, or nice tuning some indoor air cleaning system to restore quality AC service; However, when the seasons change to winter, I have to rely on a few reps to offer me side jobs. Over the years, I have seen our colleagues make currency from fixing gas furnaces, oil heaters, or performing boiler repair. They diversified to money in on the heating business needs that supply, repair & maintain demands for heating devices, radiant furnaces & electric heaters. That was our cue to embrace change & learn more about Heating & A/C, so I went back to school to refresh our proficiency of air conditioning system component & become more diverse. A year later I was back in the market with better skills & improved openings of earning more currency all year round. Now, anything that involves temperature control, I can fix, install & maintain, no matter the season. My family was cheerful for me however of course the rest stuck to their chosen job paths since they were doing just fine.
