My granddaughter wanted to have her body waxed.

I had my eyebrows waxed and then gave a hesitant yes to waxing my legs

My granddaughter came to the house last week and asked if I would go with her. She remembered I had said I needed a haircut, and she was going to get her eyebrows waxed. I saw nothing wrong with her eyebrows, but then again, maybe she had them waxed on a regular schedule. I went to the salon with her. I had never been in a nail salon like this one. It was more of a high-end salon where they had regular uniforms. We were greeted with a beverage and given robes to put on. My granddaughter told me Happy Birthday and said we were getting massages and she was going to get a full body wax. I couldn’t believe what she was saying. She had wanted to try sugaring, but this salon only offered waxing and threading. I cringed at the idea of having all my hair ripped out by the roots, but she didn’t think waxing was a big deal. She told me she had a high tolerance for pain, and the ends justify the means with waxing. She asked if I wanted to have my eyebrows waxed. If it hurt too much, I didn’t have to go any further. If it didn’t hurt too badly, she was going to tell them I wanted my legs waxed. I wasn’t sure I wanted any waxing, but she was so insistent. I had my eyebrows waxed and then gave a hesitant yes to waxing my legs. I didn’t hear her yell when they were waxing her legs. I was the grandmother and I should also be able to get through the wax, at least once, without crying.
