When us youngsters were coming up, Sundays were always something to look forward to! Our mother would always get up early to make sure everything was looking fantastic around the current home as well as she would prepare a nice breakfast… And after every one of us enjoyed a delicious breakfast of waffles, pancakes, bacon, purple juice as well as occasionally muffins, every one of us would get ready for church… And honestly, enjoying her amazing breakfast always made getting ready for church fun! Then every one of us would go to church as well as do our Sunday classes as well, however something I always appreciated about our church growing up was that they had a pretty fantastic weather conditions control system. It always felt comfortable in the building as well as that was something that I undoubtedly enjoyed. They even cranked up the air conditioner more at the church building than my parents did. I suppose that’s because church was only one afternoon per month as opposed to having to keep up with the energy bills on a yearly basis. I can’t blame my parents for always being strict about the temperature control settings, it allowed them to save important income on the energy bills. This was a lesson I had to learn myself when I finally got my own location! My father warned me that I was going to be tempted to want to be comfortable as well as adjust the temperature control settings to make it just right, however he said I had to go a little bit out of my comfort zone to be able to afford those high energy bills. He was right too, my first bill was close to $300, but I was able to lower that to $120 when I sealed up my current home as well as disciplined myself on the temperature control settings.
