Lots of dust in the air means change your air filter more frequently

It’s important to know that the air filter is one of the most important parts of the heating and air conditioning system.

The air filter traps harmful dust and particles and keeps these pollutants from entering the important components inside the system.

The heating and air conditioning unit has to be clean in order to work efficiently. When there is a lot of dust in the air, you should absolutely change the air filter more frequently. It is recommended to change the air filter in your HVAC units at least every 30 days. When the dust particles are high, it is necessary to change the air filter. My family and I live in the desert and it rarely rains much at all. When the wind starts blowing in the valley, there is absolutely nothing to help the dust settle. All of the wind causes massive sandstorms that stop traffic and cause temporary blackout conditions. All of the dust causes a ton of problems for the heating and AC system. I change the air filter frequently when the winds are over 40 mph. I still buy the same air filter that is made for allergens. I like the way they trap dust and I think they help keep the air smelling clean and fresh. The best way to keep your air clean is to keep the HVAC system running at peak performance. I run like a well oiled machine because I keep up with my health. The same is true for the machines inside of our home. They need regular maintenance to run for longer.
