Every once in a while somebody at the shop steps up to me and gives me a high five! They start talking about my recent achievements and often ask how I can keep up such a high-quality of performance week after week.
I suppose this is what happens when you are always named the best employee of the week at your service task.
It is a pretty serious deal to be recognized as the number one professional at our local heating, cooling, and air quality control dealership. Every week that comes with a significant bonus that helps me save up for my own advanced heating and cooling equipment. I actually love all of the recognition and kindness from my fellow heating and cooling professionals…however I’m not sure what every other air quality control specialist is doing. It’s baffling to me that nobody else ever gets such high reviews like how I do following their central heating, cooling, and air quality control appointments. Being a wonderful heating and cooling equipment professional is not very difficult. If you understand how air conditioning equipment and forced air gas furnaces work, that’s truly half the battle. You need to be able to effectively diagnose, install, and service air handling equipment. Besides that, you just need to be friendly with the people… When I arrive at our heating and cooling equipment service tasks I always take the time to get to know our Heating and A/C clients. I asked about their air quality preferences and potential allergies. I often speak about indoor air temperature control and walk them through service procedures. Before I even get back to the HVAC shop, they usually have called the Heating and A/C dealership to leave me an awesome review!
