I took my daughter to the doctor and it was too cold

Last week whenever I took my daughter to the doctor to have her regular check up and weight check done, it was freezing cold inside of the waiting area.

We thought that there was just something wrong with the heating in the waiting area, but when they called us back to the exam room, it was just as cold back there! It turned out that the heating system in the entire building was messed up.

The whole time that we were there, there were HVAC technicians walking up and down the hallways and thumping and bumping things around in the ceilings and in the air ducts. I have no idea what they were doing, and I don’t think that any of the doctors or nurses did either. We kept hearing these loud noises coming from inside of the air ducts and it seemed to startle the medical personnel just as much as it did all of the patients. I don’t know about you, but I kind of feel like the doctor’s office should have cancelled the appointments until the HVAC company got the heating system back up and running again. I mean, I know that it would put them behind on their appointments, but it really makes me feel like the medical staff doesn’t care so much about my well being. If they did, then they would not expect us to sit there with no heating in the building. Maybe I’m just too picky about things like that, but that’s just the way I feel.
