My wife and I have a rescue for pitbulls.
- The people I was with and I currently have 12 pitbulls in our home, six of those pets are ours and various are foster pets that will find permanent homes, but one time all of us had seventeen pets in our house at 1 time.
That was a really busy and cluttered time. The people I was with and I try not to overwhelm ourselves with that various pooches at once anymore. When all of us had that various animals in the house, the odor of pets was terrible. It was the middle of Spring too, and it was raining 5 days a week. The pets still have to pee when it rains, so then all of us end up with the odor of wet pets in the house too. The odor was really poor last March, so I went to the pet store and I talked to the manager about helping the indoor air odors. She told me to buy charcoal air filters for the HVAC unit. That was a enjoyable method that I never considered. The pet store didn’t have any charcoal air filters, even though she told me the location of a hardware store closeby. I wasn’t exactly happy with the large price tag for these special air filters, so I decided to buy 1 to see if they really helped. I entirely didn’t guess they would make a big difference, but the new air filters are superior in every way, however not only do they trap and collect more dust and pet hair, but the charcoal does eliminate a lot of the odors in our home. I am a firm believer in this product after seeing and odoring results.
