I called my HVAC company to make an appointment to get my electric furnace looked at before the winter hits, and they ended up selling me on their maintenance program! I am not usually the kind of person who falls for those online or telephone sales pitches, but this guy really got me hooked on the idea of using their heating and cooling maintenance program.
I have never used an HVAC company’s maintenance program before, because I always felt that something like that would be a big waste of money if I signed up for it for the entire year.
However, whenever I talked to this particular HVAC technician on the phone that day when I was calling to make the furnace appointment, he just snagged me on his hook! He mentioned that for the cost of a single furnace repair, I could be having an HVAC professional come to my house to check out my heating and cooling every other month or so for an entire year. When he told me that, it started to make sense to me. I started thinking that maybe I should go ahead and sign up for the bi-monthly heating and cooling maintenance program. I mean, if having one repair bill is going to cost me the same amount as the maintenance program for an entire year, then I think that it’s going to be worth the money after all. I guess whenever I get the furnace system fixed, it will be the last time I have to pay for a repair for a while. Hopefully, the HVAC maintenance program will work out well for me.
