When we moved up here, it was in a bit of a hurry.
I was starting a new job and the kids had to start a new school year.
And we had just weeks to get the HVAC upgraded in the home we were selling, get packed and get moved. That was not an experience that I hope to ever repeat. However, we were also quite blessed with how things turned out. Not only is the job I took everything I was looking for but the kids love their new school and this region. That was a big, big weight off my mind. And my wife has also really taken to the community. But maybe the biggest bonus was the fact that we scored such a great house. We moved from the south to the north so that comes with a lot of changes. Chief among them is the weather. And I really didn’t know much about the sort of HVAC equipment one needed for a serious winter. Not only was the house we ended up buying just perfect in so many ways, it had brand new HVAC equipment. And it was the sort of residential HVAC that had much of the latest and greatest in HVAC technology. This was great. But we noticed pretty quickly that the temperature throughout the house varied quite a bit. So I called the HVAC company to see about it. They came and inspected everything and very thoroughly I might add. The verdict was that our HVAC equipment was fine but the ventilation was a bit off due to added interior walls from the previous owner. We were able to correct that with the addition of room to room ventilators in those added on walls.
