Getting help from professional personal trainer and nutrionalist

I struggle with weight problems.

It’s difficult to change habits that I’ve had ingrained from childhood.

There were a lot of unhealthy practices during my childhood. I was never encouraged to play sports or be active in any way. There were always snacks available and no one monitored what or how much I was eating. My family often had donuts for breakfast and ordered pizza for dinner. My mother would bring home buckets of Kentucky Fried Chicken. I was always the chubby kid at school, which led to me being shy and withdrawn. I didn’t make friends easily and lacked confidence. I always wanted to try out for various sports teams but never found the courage. When I went away to college, I finally got motivated to make life changes. Unfortunately, I didn’t know how to go about it. I tried eating less and feeling hungry all the time. This led to binge eating and depression. I tried running but failed to warm up properly and managed to hurt my knees and ankles. I then heard about access to personal training through the school’s fitness center. I immediately signed up and sat down for a consultation with a personal trainer. She developed a workout regimen for my personal requirements and goals. She also recommended that I meet with a nutritionist. These two professionals have made all the difference. They started me on a much healthier path that has led to a more active and happier lifestyle. It took a lot of effort, time and hard work to stick with the plan and change my habits. However, seeing improvement was motivational. I have continued to workout regularly and eat clean, and I have totally changed my outlook.
