Duct sealing doesn't cause a mess

When I realized that the complications with comfort, air quality plus high utility bills were caused by leaky HVAC duct, I was nervous.

The duct system is concealed inside walls plus ceilings.

There’s no straight-forward way to access the pipes. I assumed that repairing the holes would require a sizable remodeling project. I imagined cutting down walls plus ceilings plus a sizable mess. I figured the project would be time-consuming plus super lavish. I was tempted to just live with holes in the ducts, but the issue was severe. Duct testing revealed that 25% of the conditioned air produced by the furnace plus a/c was escaping through imperfections. Along with excessive utility bills, the issues with the HVAC duct was forcing the heating plus cooling device to run more often plus labor harder. The added wear plus tear would eventually lead to repairs plus failure. Plus, many rooms in the beach house were either boiling or downright freezing. There was always dust plus other particles floating around in the air, plus I was sad about potential health threats. I finally sat down with the Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier plus discussed the duct sealing process. He explained that it was possible to effectively service the ducts from the inside. The first step was to block off all of the supply plus return registers. The supplier then sent highly pressurized air into the duct system. This air carried adhesive, non-toxic polymer particles. As the air leaked from the several holes, those particles stuck to the edges plus gradually built up to create an airslender seal. The whole duct sealing procedure took a couple of minutes. There was no disruption to the home, unpleasant odors or sticky residue left behind. The duct sealing process was beautifully effective, plus it’s guaranteed for many years.
